ORTHOPTICS

Orthoptics is a specialty of optometry which focuses on the rehabilitation and treatment of diseases through visual training exercises.
Its objective is to correct visual deficiencies by stimulating the structures of the eye. It is also used as a preventative treatment for eye strain.
Some eye diseases, such as strabismus, lazy eye or diplopia (double vision) should be treated with orthoptic therapy.
